In this session candidates will have opportunity to hear latest and greatest from Google’s Data & AI porfolio and do labs based on the technology that empowers today’s products like Gmail, Maps, Photos etc.

WORKSHOP AGENDA:

Introduction to GCP platform with focus on Data & AI (Beginner)

For candidates that have no GCP experience, we will explore fundamentals of GCP and Cloud in general with focus on Data & AI offerings.

Fundamentals of Google BigQuery (Intermediate)

BigQuery is Google Cloud’s fully managed, petabyte-scale, and cost-effective analytics data warehouse that lets you run analytics over vast amounts of data in near real time. In this session, candidates will be introduced to fundamentals of BigQuery and what you can achieve in the world of Data & AI.

Analyze Customer Reviews with Gemini Using SQL (Intermediate)

In this lab you learn how to use BigQuery Machine Learning with remote models (Gemini Pro) in SQL to extract keywords, assess customer sentiment in customer reviews, and respond to customer reviews with zero-shot and few-shot prompts.

Intended audience: Data Engineer, Analyst or a person who has interest to learn about power of Google Cloud and Cloud environments in general. No coding experience required.
